Macros
The SPL above uses the following Macros:
kubernetes_gcp_detect_sensitive_role_access_filter is a empty macro by default. It allows the user to filter out any results (false positives) without editing the SPL.

How To Implement
You must install splunk add on for GCP. This search works with pubsub messaging servicelogs.
Known False Positives
Sensitive role resource access is necessary for cluster operation, however source IP, user agent, decision and reason may indicate possible malicious use.

Risk Score | Impact | Confidence | Message |
---|---|---|---|
25.0 | 50 | 50 | tbd |
The Risk Score is calculated by the following formula: Risk Score = (Impact * Confidence/100). Initial Confidence and Impact is set by the analytic author.
